I’m Matt,

A landscape, seascape, and sometimes urban photographer based on the UK’s South Coast.

For the past 15 years, I’ve explored places like Dorset, the New Forest, the surrounding coastline, and cities across the UK, always drawn to light, atmosphere, and moments that feel honest.

​

Originally from Manchester and a proud Manc, I’ll always have a strong connection to my home city. While the South Coast offers a very different backdrop, the contrast between urban life and open spaces continues to shape how and why I photograph.

I don’t believe great photography comes from the latest gear. Some of my favourite images have been made using older cameras and lenses — proof that vision, timing, and curiosity matter far more than specifications.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a husband to my amazing wife Liv, step-dad to Ella and Freya, and a dog dad to our Romanian fluff ball, Suzy.
