Hi, I’m Matt.

Originally from Manchester, I’ve called the New Forest home since 2010 and have a deep-rooted passion for our local scenery. I have always been a landscape photographer at heart, capturing the natural world long before I started taking on commercial projects.

Alongside my landscape work, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with clients like the BBC, Channel 4, and IKEA, as well as several wonderful independent brands across the UK.

I’m honoured that my dedicated landscape photography has been recognised through various awards, guest blogs, and magazine features, which motivates me to continue exploring our environment. Ultimately, my aim is to inspire others to get out and see the landscapes around us for themselves.

My work is born from countless hours spent in the New Forest and along the Dorset coast. I’m particularly drawn to the soft light of early autumn and the dramatic feel of winter skies.

I truly believe that great photography isn’t about the most expensive gear; it’s about the patience to wait for the perfect light and building a genuine connection with the surroundings.

Sharing this journey is just as important to me as the images themselves. I also teach other landscape photographers through workshops, and there is an immense sense of joy in seeing them capture images they feel truly proud of.

When I’m not out with my camera, I live in the heart of the forest with my wife Liv, my stepdaughters Ella and Freya, and our rescue dog, Suzy.

I strive to keep my photography honest and down-to-earth, celebrating the incredible natural beauty found right on our doorstep.
